Thanks to its ability to boost when needed, and the fast storage used, everything we've done on the MacBook Air has responded instantly. The processor appears a tad on the disappointing side for the price, compared to what you get elsewhere – the identically-priced HP Envy 13 gives you a quad-core processor – but HyperThreading means it can act like a quad-core processor, and it can boost its speed up to 3.6GHz for short tasks.
